Tune: Gwalchmai
('King of glory, King of peace')
********
What scribblings, what musings?
What song heart sings?
While free time to meditate
Or contemplate
Using time wisely, not waste
Nor use in haste
The Lord's appointing each day
Seek Him and pray
Trust His life and love and power
Through each hour
Redeeming time, it be ours
Twenty-four hours
In each day, yet still abide
In Christ confide
Morning, night, and afternoon
With Him commune
Light and life and salvation
To each nation
He does bring, to Him praise sing
Rest 'neath His wing
Earthly time not last for e'er
But hope we share
Eternity with him spend
Christ our true Friend [of sinners]

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 7.4.7.4. 7.4.7.4. metre. Inspired by The Uneducated OAP mentioning 'scribblings', this came to mind. Also a clip of some spring-like scenes. 'Christ the Friend of sinners' is the theme in some churches for today.
