Seek

Blossomed solitary, a flower unseen

Colors missed; hues ignored

Fragrances ne'er sniffed

Scattered into emptiness

By planters 'n florists

Makers unmaking their creatures

Leaving them derelict

Forlorn in a floral paradise

Alone inside a packed bouquet

Kindred flowers, strangers by design

Precious little to share

Save for empty stares

The sadness of the florists 'merchandise'.

The cast-off 'didn't quite make the grade' bloom - never to fulfill is intended purpose. The assembled beauties used as a tool to warm the heart of a willing mistress.

Mother nature, what have we done with your beauties?

Their beauty is lost to those who assemble them and can only be seen by those who look deeply into them.
