This Poem is presented as a 3 11 Blank Verse Acrostic Sonnet ~ OK
The Equilibrium (Staus Quo) ~ Constraint Law applies to all Chemical & Biochemical Systems. Planet Earth is a complex Chemical / Biochemical system which must obey the Law ! The Energy the Earth receives from the Sun is constant. Consequently if Human Activity doubles the Greenhouse Gases more of the Suns Energy (as Heat) is trapped inside the Earths Atmosphere and the average temperature MUST INCREASE ~ SIMPLE. The Status Quo is restored by increased Global Warming ! Unfortunately this has negative irreversible global consequences ! Ice Caps melt ~ Sea level rises ~ Tornadoes & hurricanes increase ~ Deserts increase in area and ultimately Planet Earth is unable to sustain *Urban Technological Man* and the Human Race becomes EXTINCT ! The video explains that it is HOMO SAPIENS (YOU !) that has caused GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE and consequently only YOU can reverse it ~ or PERISH ~ AMEN. Were not Prophets of Doom ! Very droll UNCLE STEVE ~ You have to remember that every time you open your mouth you increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere ~ thereby sealing you own untimate fate ! *We all say it best ~ when we say NOTHING AT ALL !*

Good afternoon BILL ~ Thanks for your comment ! As an OAP yiu can do your bit by being greener but in essence you don't have to worry like Greta Thunberg (16) does ~ because things wont go citical until after 2070 (50 years from now) ! Angela (81) & I (86) will still be in our Prime ! My Poem is about EQUILIBRIUM and everything was OK before the Industrial Revolution and the CO2 level was 250 ppm and the Ambient Temperature was 15C. The CO2 (mainly manproduced) is now 450 ppm & rising and so is the temperature to maintain EQUILIBRIUM ! What you say is true that NATURE as well as MAN is producing GREENHOUSE GASSES (CO2 - Methane - Water Vapour etc) but the Man Produced % are still playing a significant part and tht we can control but most people want to keep their cars and dont want to go back to walking ~ cycling or buying a Horse ! The problem is people now live further & further away from their work so ned a car or Public Transport. Also we are totally dependent on Electricity which in the UK is still largely produced from Fosil Fuels !

GOOD MORNING UNCLE ANDY ~ yes indeed. The Scriptures indicate that GOD gave Man the resposibility of caring for Planet Earth. When we were Hunter Gatherers we were an integral part of all the ecosystems ! When Urbanisation & Tec & Hitec over took & overlooked Nature the Equilibrium Shifted against Nature and she is fighting back (to restore Equilibrium) with dire consequences. The History of *Third Planet from the Sun* in the last 500 years would make a good SF Film ~ The sad thing is it is Fact & Not Fiction !

Oh yes I would blame man's rapacious selfishly destructive ways upon the environment for these gases and its harms. This is a great brilliant acrostic poem on the situation of the earth. Kudos.
