Tune: St Fulbert
('Ye choirs of new Jerusalem')
Psalm 25 v.15-22
*******
My eyes are ever to the LORD
I trust sure in His word
For He shall save m from snares made
Which enemies have laid
Turn to me, LORD, and have mercy
On me, I lonely, see
And afflicted am I, my heart
Trouble herein large part
O bring me out of my distress
See my affliction, bless
Me, and my pain do here relieve
Forgive me, me receive
Consider now my enemies
They many, on me seize
They hate me with cruel hatred
Would harm me, wish me dead
O keep my soul, deliver me
Let me not ashamed be
For I do put my trust in you
You shall help me anew
Let integrity, uprightness
Keep me, hold me, no less
For in faith I do on you wait
Come to me, help not late
Redeem Israel, O God, I pray
They your people today
Save them out of their troubles all
Trusting you they not fall
