You Stole my breath.

markziff

When I first saw you,
As a rose from afar,
The beauty afore me,
Heart beat so you stole the air.

Held in my arms,
Your skin so soft, so smooth,
Our first kiss, as never before,
Your eyes burning warm held me.

Our bodies pressed together close,
Like my first time, never before,
You fill my heart, my soul,
I am content, from this day forth.

And then she buggered off with the milkman?

I wish relationships were the way you describe in your poem. Sadly it all changes.
