Tune: Melcombe
('New every morning is the love')
Psalm 119 v.105-112
********
Your word is a lamp to my feet
And to worship you it is meet
And your word too a light it be
Unto my path, I clearly see
I have sworn I will carry out
Your righteous judgements, with no doubt
I them will keep, though afflicted
I am, O be not from me hid
Revive me, O LORD, according
unto your word, so will I sing
And offer freewill offerings
Teach me your judgements in all things
My soul is always in my hand
I am in troubles in this land
Yet I do not your law forget
And you have remained with me yet
The wicked a snare for me laid
Yet I erred not, was not waylaid
From your precepts, but still them did
E'en though I enemies amid
Your testimonies to me be
A heritage so rich and free
They the rejoicing of my heart
I delight in them, every part
My heart to your ways I inclined
And you have cleansed it and refined
Always I shall your statutes do
Perform each one, obeying you
