Together

Neville

Together

A top of the tide and

An offshore breeze

A sprig of rosemary

Left behind

With nothing else to

Mark the spot where

They were laid to rest

Entwined and side by side

Bless you Saxon Crow my fine literary friend... Tis indeed one o them happy sad posts... My folks used to have a house overlooking the sea at Widemouth Bay near Bude Cornwall and it was their wish to have their ashes scattered together there....

Without a traditional gravestone or plaque it is fitting to have words which mark an occasion such as you describe. Nobody can instill more feeling or meaning into the chosen words than those who feel the loss most.
Here i read such words which contain ample depth of meaning for this occasion.
      Short and powerful.

Many thanks D A my friend.. it still grieves me that there is no marker whatsoever to indicate that either of my beloved parents were ever here at all...
