Bound by the river

Poetic Dan

What is it about a river that soothes the soul!

Is it the constant flow, boundlessly moving and letting go

Is it the scenery that holds, endlessly containing never to fold

Is it the life that surrounds it, of many stories untold

I may never of met you or seen you for years

If you whisper the dragonfly will transport the fears

Until one by one each tear we become a better human

To stand as deep as the ocean for what we have done

All life is the power and inner beauty of creation

How complicated we can make this unique existence

With past, present and future all mixed in us at once

As every ripple got me here and will forever expand on

Unless your mind is stuck, then you'll see nothing at all. Just a empty vessel taking a stroll!

Wisdom in your words today Dan. Something must be in the March air for I wrote something spiritual today too.
        A very life affirming piece.

Lol it was written yesterday and tested this morning walking the dogs at dawn, I got to meet the a GS many had told me about.... Let's just say, after I let it follow me showing the owner it had no control, I then walked out back to him and gave my views. He took it bet than I thought, as I don't really say things I could not back up there and then....

Life truly is a interesting ride! I'll now be honoured to see it from your side!

          Always appreciate your time buddy
