Demon Dog Envy

TWENTY3

DEMON DOG ENVY

Invidia master of the sea of chaos
Leviathan that coils himself around civilization
Bidding man to sew discord among his brethren
Leading them all to damnation and the eternal
Waters of Hell
Devil in the ear, infesting minds with dissatisfaction

Urging them to take what is theirs and yours as well
Satanic need to own and consume someone else’s dream
Demon dog envy

Kindness denied and possessions obtained

Status claimed and abilities owned torn from the hands of men

Jealousy burns the senses and inflames the mind

The risk of eyes being sown shut with wire

Means nothing when weighed against the desire

End of days drowning in bile and scorn

Spitting venom and envy

I'm glad this was only two verses because i was terrified. I think i should have soiled my underwear had there been a third verse.

    I'm out of breath.

Wonderful dark write, have you been taking lessons from Unsub?

As Unsub is aware I try to find light in all his poems and in yours there is light as to burn the senses you must have light so all you need to do is follow the light out of that Demon Dogs Envy.
