Hesitation

Neville

Hesitation

Somewhere beneath

The highest bough

There will always be

Those who shall forever

Hesitate while

Others wander free

Then there are those

Who jump without

So much as looking

Leaping into nothing

Like blind or reckless

Lemmings or lovers even

Throwing caution

To the wind

Individual heroes maybe

Versus

Flocks of willing sheep

Those that take a dive

And those who

Forever wait and weep

Baaaaaaa! Is this a question of when you say "jump", I say.... 'after you mate'.

There are non so blind as those who fell off the 10.000ft cliff two years ago.

Nicely put together and i can see you have set out to confuse those who never bother to read our poetry anyhow.

An impressive telling of what happens to he or ( she) who hesitates when once decisions are made --- as for me - I wish to be among those who wander freely - -- my thanks to you Nev. most kindly for thoughts to ponder in these few Sunday- lines.

I'm game for that freworking of old ones specially my hip
As for diving in without first knowing what lies beneath the surface. No, not me. I guess that means I speak in bleats.
You've drawn a clever comparison between the "willing sheep" who a'wait and weep' and the :heroes" who "wander free." Lots to like here. _ Phil A.

I have always found that I wandering (jumping) into a new path can be good and takes you along a way that adds to your life. Moving on is good.

You hesitated yourself N? 'He/she who hesitates is lost?!' True always?
You hesitated listening to me sing? Well, millions do! heehee.

although from a distance, it may look like hesitation, sometimes it pays to tread more slowly..

                cheers,

I followed the jumped, realised those buggers never actually went! They say it's never to late but sometimes I wish that maybe I'd wait!
Who am I kidding I do not like to hesitate!

                Fantastic stuff my friend!
                Much peace and respect

                • Neville
