Within

John Prophet

As the world

goes insane,

I look within.

Maelstrom

surrounds,

I look within.

Turn off the

noise,

quiet the sound,

settle

the mind.

Quiet vistas

abound,

within.

Whole worlds

await.

Turn off the

noise, settle

the soul,

within.

Infinity

awaits

reflection

exploration.

Outside

spinning,

overwhelming,

yet quiet

within.

Moving serenely

one place to

the next.

Visions,

infinite visions

to reflect.

Away from

the din,

preferable place.

Away from

the racket

I’d rather be.

So much

to wonder,

so much to see.

Calmer reflection

of all that

could be.

Very true John, that silence within us is so meaningful.
