PLENTY FOR ALL

Michael Edwards

Coronavirus, let it be said,
is worrying all with the speed of its spread
and a shortage of goods is a constant dread
but I'm quite convinced when thinking ahead
there'll be plenty for all with so many dead.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I can often see the funny in any situation, a bit incorrect maybe but heigh.!! .................... I'm in the 'at risk' age group but luckily I don't have any underlying health issues and nor does my wife but who knows how we'll fare if we catch it. ...................... A bit worrying really.

Fingers crossed - there is a lot of panic being generated but ther's nothing anyone can do about it - just slow it down so the services can respond in a more sustaineed and thorough way.

I know this is not meant in an unfeeling way. 🙂
Ahh, well there is that! (dark humour).
Or - well, stop drinking that Corona lemonade then - or similar name from years ago, I think. Remember it?

Mmm a bit of a worry, especially for you with customers entering your studio/shop daily. Have your missus fumigate them on entry.

My poor hands are worrying what is happening to them - they've never been washed so many times.

A bit dark, coming from you.
Your trees remind me of people waiting for a train.

              Keep our fingers crossed.

Washing the hands is a bit difficult when the fingers have to stay crossed that the virus wont invade those with red-raw digits - eh Mike... ? Good on ya for tackling this latest nail-biting affair.

            • Fay Slimm.

Forgot to say I laughed myself off the chair after reading your rhyme - - great stuff.
