In our lives there are many virtues,
Each one takes us further in our lives.
The friendship of others
Who bring light to our souls,
Lifts us to a new world.
The love of a loved one,
Brings joy to our heart
And takes us into loves wonder.
In my life music pervades me,
As I listen emotions grab me.
The wonder of nature
Creating art and sounds
That are unique each moment.
For these virtues
I am so grateful,
Grateful to be able to realise,
Realise how wonderful they are.

Good write Gold. Did we meet Cicero in person? A bit before 1066, I know. My poem today is on similar theme.
He said that to me at the time, that is why I write about it.
He also said - "Orators are most vehement when their cause is weak." which is very meaningful nowadays.

I read something he said about slaves, but Fido is barking, and says it's terrible. To paraphrase, he said they are the scum of the earth.
