*God speaks to us ~ day by day ~ through His Inspired Word ~ THE BIBLE. Even though we are not living together (yet) Angela & I read the same passage of Scripture to guide us through the DAY. We read the BIBLE and pray every morning to seek Gods Guidance. Because we are indwelt by Gods Holy Spirit we are enabled to show the Fruit of the Spirit ~ Love - Joy - Peace - Patience - Kindness - Goodness - Faithfulness - Gentleness & Moderation ~ which are very essential traits ~ that we both need our respective Professions ! Angela as a PHYSIOTHERAPIST with Clients who are often in Pain & Depressed and I as a Tutor in Applied Science in Higher Education ~ AMEN !

On the contrary BILL ~ we would be much more miffed if you didnt comment ! Your replies are always gracious and make us think ! Spiritual (Faith) Healing is a very big subject - well documented in the BIBLE and Church History. Angela & I do believe in Spiritual Healing and Support Medical Missionaries & MAF (Missionary Aviation Fellowship) which is invlved in medical Work in Developing Countries. Angelas Parents Church have a Fund Raising Supper (£30) of which £20 goes to support Young People from the local Catholic School to go to Lourdes each year to assist those in Wheel Chairs etc. Angela & I (who are Evangelicals) always support and encourage others. Your question has a serious note.
1. Because Angela is a committed Christian she has chosen a Profession ~ Working with People. Her name in Spanish = ANGEL ~ she believes as a PHYSIO she is a part of Gods Healing Ministry and has *Healing Hands*.
2. Privately she prays for each of her Clients ~ for recovery ~ by NAME. She is allowed to wear a Cross and the Hospital do have a Chaplain and Gideon Bibles (or New Testaments) are placed in all the lockers.
3. We believe the NHS is one of many ways in which Spiritual Healing is spread through the UK.
4. The Gift of Healing is one of the Gifts of the Spirit wich God gives to individuals in all Local Churches ~ AMEN ! Again. a very big subject ! Thanks for raising

In times of need and distress i suggest one leads their camel laden with riches to that biblical eye of a needle and seek truth. For it seems many believers in what is written in the bible seem to conveniently overlook that which is inconvenient in their lifestyle therefore encouraging the accusation of their holding dual standards or insincerity.
ANGELA HERE - Thanks DA for an interesting Comment & Observation ! Brian & I were raised in Christian Homes so we were taught to Pray - attend Church and Read the Bible. I was confirmed and allowed to take Holy Communion. Brian was baptised by immersion and also became a Communicant. We are both Committed Christians we attend Church regular - we pray & read the Bible every Day. In this way and through the Sermons etc we receive daily guidence from God in ours lives. We both wanted to Marry a Committed Christian and we believe God brought us together. Being Committed Christians we exhibit the NINE Fruit of the Spirit in our daily lives which is a great help in both our Professions because we work with People ! We are not perfect but we try to honour God in our lives and be good Role Models (we are Youth Leaders in the Church) I to my Clients and Brian to his Students. We have never smoked or used drugs and we have never been drunk & incapable. We dont gamble and we are faithful to each other. We belief totally in the Trinity - The Bible as the inspired Word of God - and Salvation through faith in Christs atonement on the Cross in AD 33. Being a Christian defines who we are and who we will always be for the rest of our lives ! We are both sincere and never Double-minded ! Thanks for raising the issue of Hypocracy !

GOOD EVENING UNCLE STEVE ~ It is good to get a response that is 100% in support of our Presentation ~ Picture - Praise & Poem. Those of us who are *Born Again* and filled with the Holy Spirit do have an understanding of the Spiritual Dimension where God dwells and operates from. Those who chose not to believe simply see it as fiction or brain-washing. However our Faith is unshakable and our understanding of The Trinity & The Bible & The Spiritual Dimension increases day by day. This creates a distance of Belief between Believers & Unbelievers which makes genuine dialogue almost impossible which is a pity !

It is an Eastern Alternative Medicine and obviously if it uses Massage (Healing Hands) - Hot & Cold Stones - Hydrotherapy and Music etc there will be a Physiological & Psychological improvement but personally I would not classify it as Spiritual Healing ! The outcomes of Reiki (and other Alternative Medical Practices) are what would be expected from such techniques OR PHYSIOTHERAPY ! Relaxation - Pain & Stress relief - Peace of Mind - Homeostasis - Improved rate of recovery from Injury. Reiki costs £100 for hree sessions - Physiotherapy is avaiabe *free* on the NHS ! There are many other Alternative Medical Practices available (for a Fee) those I am qualified to are marked with a * Acupuncture* Aromatherapy* Aquatherapy* Chiropractic Colon Cleansing Crystal Healing Detoxification Fasting Feng Shui Faith Healing Herbalism Hypnotherapy Magnets Massage* Meditation Nutrition* Pilates Reflexology Sound Therapy Tai Chi Traditional Medicines & Yoga. Quite a wide range of choice. Many older people are introduced to these techniques on Cruises and become hooked on them. I hope that helps.

Spiritual (Faith) Healing is one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to the Christian Church. I ask GOD to give me *Healing Hands* to aid me to improve the Mobilty and Dexterity of my clients ! One of my specialisms is the Human Hand and improving Manual Dexterity. In our Evangelical Church we have Four Ordained Leaders - Pastors. If a member of the Congregation asks for Prayer for Healing one of Two of the Pastors will honour their request by anonting them with OIL - laying hands on them and Praying for healing. Two of our Leaders have this Gift. My Gifts are Teaching & Preaching (especially to Teenagers) and Music.

Im a reiki practitioner and what you've mentioned is inaccurate im afraid to say. Reiki is hands on (and hands off) healing. Im sure there is reiki masaage etc but in its original form it is tuning into universal life force or 'God' and channeling that energy into another person who needs healing. Yes i do agree that people do charge for this but i also know so many, many people myself included.who do this for free. Equally, i also know many spiritual healers who chargr as well. Swings and roundabouts. EVERYONE has the capacity to heal, without exception. Its whether ee choose to access it or are taught it. Its pary of our nature. We have just not been taught it. Well, not by 'civilised' standards. Most, if not all, tribal communities know this energy is real amd tangible. It all depends what packaging you label it with 🙂

Since my giving up of the Christian religion due to it not being there to help my Joyce I have moved into t better palce in my life and have realised that organised religion such as christianity is just a farce leading people into a place where they are being misled. I still belive in MY SPIRIT, but it is just that MY way and I know where I am going by my own volition not being led astray into somebody else's way.

ANGELA HERE - Thanks for your interesting comment UNCLE ANDY - You*re beginning to sound like Sinatra ! I guess your testimony will encourage those who have *lost* their Christian Faith (for whatever reason) can still lead a fulfilled life by virtue of their own INNER SPIRIT ~ AMEN. Since I became an Evangelical Christian I have become less dependent on the Church & its Sacrements and more dependent on the Holy Spirit who lives within Me and enables me to be Christlike 24/7. It is the result of My Spirit working in close harmony with the Holy Spirit ~ AMEN.
