Nature looked at her world
And saw it was dying.
So she cried,
Those tears became so heavy
That our world started drowning.
Did we do anything?
Of course not!
There was no money in it,
No money for those in power.
So the tears stopped,
And all started to mend.
Nature looked at her world
And saw no lessons learned,
So she breathed gently,
Gently on her world.
That breath contained death!
As the bug surrounded the world
We listened.
We listened, as people died,
Many people died,
But the world of Nature improved,
And the world became a better place.
I wonder if we will learn
Learn not to battle with Nature
Because if we do
It will happen again
And we ALL may perish next time.

A fien write Gold.
A rather 'fire and brimstone' church did their bit with some published prayer helps. One ran: 'O Lord, who in your anger in days of old plagued the people for their wickedness....... yet have mercy on us'.
There is the aspect of God's anger, I believe, but they overdo that side a tad.

We didn't learn from a war to end all wars. We are a violent and selfish life form, but that is not unusual on this planet if we look at the animals.
Maybe we are deserving of extinction. Is our time passed and gone like the dinosaur.
Some of us will survive and find out.

BRIAN HERE ~ Thnaks for sharing the Liverpool FC's Awesome Anthem *You*ll Never Walk Alone* from Carousel. Best sung on the COP when the Reds are Winning ~ Awesome. My Dad tells me ~ when Billy Graham was in the Anfield Stadium in 1984 ~ He was in the choir (I was 9 months old). The Choir (1000 strong) asked Cliff Barrows if they could sing *You*ll Never Walk Alone* ! Cliff agreed and they changed the last line to *Walk on Walk on ~ with Christ in Your Heart ~ and You*ll Never Walk Alone* What Cliff & Billy & George hadn*t bagained for was the 40,000 in the Audience had all brought their Scarves (Liverpool - Everton - Tranmere - Chester etc) and they all joined in ~ AMEN ! Its reported that the COP needed a new ROOF !
Love the poem ~ Nature (GHIA) will fight back if man threatens to Destroy Planet Earth. Because HOMO TECHNOLOGUS has opted out of NATURE Food Cycles & Webs he has no natural Predetors and the popultion has quadrupled in the last 100 years (1920 = 1.8 billion ~ 2020 = 7.8 billion) so we live in overcrowded Megacities which require HITECH to survive and have almost doubled the Atmospheric CO2. This has caused Global Warming and is gradually destroying Planet Earth. So Nature has fought back in a very simple way ! A new & invisible VIRUS (CORVID 19) which will kill 1% of those infected ~ mainly those over 60 with other maladies. Before a VACCINE can be fornd & made available millions ~ will die. Meanwhile HOMO TECHNOLOGUS has ground to a halt and we are caccooned in our BRICK CELLS until 2021 & beyond. Angela (An NHS Worker !) & I (Housebound) expect to survive (because we are > 40) but we must be prepared to face *The Brave New World* and go back to Nature I do have an allotment @ the College and we now own a House with a Garden and Bicycles to face *APOCALYPSE NOW* Its the only time I wish I was 50 years older (86) ~ AMEN !

No, We won't learn. we will forget what happening today soon after we rush out for making money. Even at this right moment, still some are try to use this as a chance to play their game to gain power. Oh, human.
No we probably will not learn mandm, yes some greedy ********* (enter your own word) are still out to make money out of those who are suffering.
