Tune: Merrial
('Now the day is over')
Romans 12 v.12 v.17-21
*********
Repay no one evil
To no one ill-will
Have regard for good things
Christ's presence this brings
Living honestly, so
Each person shall know
And see you a witness
Of Christ sure through this
If it be possible
Live in peace with all
Do as much on your part
To maintain good heart
Drawing on resources
Of the Spirit, this
Will help you, empower
Desired peace [will] flower
Leave vengeance to the Lord
To repay, His word
Shall be just and righteous
And comfort to us
Be not overcome by
Evil when 'tis nigh
But do overcome it
With good, light be lit

UNCLE STEVE ~ Thanks for sharing N-T-D-I-O great tune & lyric. I can hear my Welsh Grannie singing it on a Sunday Night when we all gathered for a sing-song after church. Teacakes toasted on an open fire ~ those were the days. This C-19 virus has acctually resulted in a lot of Peace & Cooperation at all levels. In the UK in a crisis we are all Friends & Supportive of each oher ~ AMEN. Im cooking Welsh Lamb & Apple Pie for dinner tonight for Angela after a stressful day in the Clinic & on the Orthopedic Ward. Loving Married Life ~ AMEN
Blessings & Joy to You & Fab Fido.
Love int Spirit Brian & Angela 💛💛💛
Ahh, lovely, married 18 days early, was it? That Welsh lamb and Apple Pie will surely be what's needed. Won't go far wrong with that! I'm writing this from Neptune now, don't ya know - me singing!
NTDIO is same author as 'Onward, Christian Soldiers'. Some folk don't like OCS, as too war-like, yet we know it's a spiritual battle. Though we had an ex-military Vicar (though young-ish) drilling Grannies at church into order: 'quick march!' We said he was mainly to help the men in the church at that time.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
