Your countenance may well
Be a solid brick wall,
But behind it there's a garden,
Secret gathering lust;
Low boughs of rhodedendron
And night blooming jasmine
In the shimmering dusk.
Those eyes keep melancholy
Thoughts, cool and deep
Like a bottomless fae pool
Keeps myriad koi fish,
Silver scales a-glimmer.
The twisting elegance of
Your spine, makes me shiver
But the rarity of that smile
With softest of dimples
Makes me quiver -
A feeling I know
I could live in forever.
