Lust

SerenWise

If angels can speak,

Your voice makes me weak,

A visceral beauty, climb high,

Will you recapture the sky?

Your lips secrets hold,

And if I may be so bold -

Secrets still taste divine,

I want them only on mine.

I want to taste the sea foam

On my tongue - yours alone,

It's dead mermaids they say;

You beach me each day.

I long to map contours,

A perfection of yours

And if you smile and sigh,

Well, I'm now high and dry.
