where once was

dusk arising



 

yesterday
I walked
where once
was when.
upon a path
which led.
when time ago
each step
was keen.
to pace
where I had
to go.

    Dusk,

    I was totally engrossed reading your poem...
    and listening to the recording! I wasn’t aware of the Clannad-Magical Ring Album. Today I shall listen to the rest of the album. Thank you for sharing.

      Thank you Laura. Yes i believe this was their first album back in 1970's i think. I certainly bought a copy of it. They came to fame because one of their tracks was used as the theme music for a popular TV program called 'Harry's Game'. As i recall they went on to do another TV theme tune to do with Robin Hood soon after. In those days there were only three TV channels in most of U.K.
