Thinking Out Loud

SerenWise

It's still there,

By some amazing chance -

That look of adoration

That I feel I don't deserve

Yet warms my soul aflame;

And I still love the way

Your lips form my name...

Could I have been so wrong?

Never dreaming

Your love was this strong,

There's only one certainty

Pervading my mind, like some

Plush velvet blanket

Thrown across my weary form -

The more that I look

The more beautiful you become.

    Ooooh this is perfectly versed with a splash of great tenderness after a period of wondering why - - romance without a doubt appears in each line of your second stanza - well done indeed Seren.
