Revealed.

Fay Slimm.

Revealed.

Midnight, sipping on anger uncorks feelings.

Hours of relentless thought before depth

of rancour revealed.

Alone, daunting re-view enlivens nostalgia.

Caught in blighted self pity love writhes

in abject unbalance.

Belief, maturing slowly releases candour.

Seeds which tear-sieved start to open

as desire over-plants.

New-charged, hoarded mistrust recedes.

With ego's demise acceptance defines

what the future will be.

Do I read betrayal of the most sacred trust revealed here.
A hurt so personal. A hurt which could only be inflicted by the most important person in one's life. No other hurt could cut so deeply. Cutting through bonds as it stabs to the heart, killing a flame kindled for years. Nothing compares to the anguish of the moments of accepting this worst of all treachery is a certainty.
And then of course the "what do I do now" situation to be addressed.

All there in your words today, all the more vivvid to those who've worn the T-shirt.

Your words almost hit the mark in this generous comment D.A. -- appreciated so much your continued encouragement,
