LOL when did you last witness planet earth as being paradise for mankind.... that's assuming you actually meant mankind and not just convenient selective bits of mankind. Mankind is ALL of us and in true spirit of goodwill, if part of mankind is suffering then mankind it self is suffering.

London no longer the capital of commerce... so where is that now then? and Florida just a playground for alligators?... well if Florida were a country it would rate 17th in GDP according to google.

GOOD AFTERNOON ~ DA ~ Thanks for your considered reply ! Where would you prefer to live ? One of our immediate Neghbours in Space Venus or Mars ? You know you would not last an Hour without an elaborate LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM and of course you would have to land safely first ! The same is true of the Moon. I am aware that not all places on Earth are as favoured as England but anywhere on Earth is infinitely better than The Moon Venus or Mars and the other Planets in the Solar System are even worse as far as Humna Habitation is concerned ! The point I am making about London ~ Florida & Paris etc etc the desired destinations of Holiday Makers ~ COVID 19 has cut them all down to Size and they are all equal. Its like visiting the lost Aztec & Mayan Cities in Central (Mexico) and South (Peru) America. Perhaps if this pesists much longer London & Paris will meet the same fate and Kissimee will be a habitation of Alligators ! If Mankind (The Human Race) had continued to *Live in harmony with Nature* it would still be a Paradise and still could be again ! COVID 19 ~ is a warning shot across the Bows of the Complancency of Technological Man. We are not invincible and we are not above Nature. We are an integral part (or we should be) of Natures Natural Cycles & Seasons ~ OK.

Well, an interesting change of subject re the planets which i find completely irrelevant as they were not mentioned either in your piece of work or in my comment. As a poet maybe you could have used your poetic skills to present the points you make in your response rather than the falsehoods in your posted piece. The thing you said about London struck me as glaringly inaccurate as of today which encouraged me to find out more about florida.
Living in harmony with nature is a fine aspiration for us all. But let us not overlook the fact that nature has a way of biting all inhabitants of this planet without apparent cause and effect in a lot of cases. A warning shot is indeed a poetic phrase. Once again you use words to describe our planet as having been a paradise, ignoring the question of when was it ever a paradise. Was it a paradise for the dinosaurs (pre homo-sapiens) when the asteroid struck killing off nearly all animal life on the planet.. or a more recent time historically?

We've brought it upon ourselves, or rather the few in China have - conditions not unlike The Black Death in the 'wet markets'. (Remember I survived it of course, around 1348. Doh!). Then millions of 'innocents' are suffering.
You know 'innocent' not in a strictly spiritual sense, but meaning 'good, ordinary folk'.
There's still vanity of celebrities - they make us sick sometimes - not physically though. I mean, I gotta pay for Branson' private island upkeep now!

I agree the tenor of my Poem was that this PANDEMIC is not an Alien or Satanic or the result of WW3 *The fault is not in our STARS but in OURSELVES* Wet meat markets flouting simple Hygeine Rules have produced a CARONAVIRUS mutation which we now identify as CORVID 19 which has spread unilaterally throughout the WHOLE WORLD. Our Scientists are working hard to find an antidote & a vaccine. Meanwhile 1000s (of the over 60s mainly) are dieing daily ~ in every Country of the World and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future ! LOCKDOWN linits the spread of CORVID 19 ~ it is a PREVENTION but not a CURE !

Thanks for your comments Uncle Andy ~ much appreciated. In our *Poems* on Global Warming & COVID 19 we are making the point that the Earths resources are more than adequate to House & Clothe & Feed 7.8 billion People and 15 billion - if needs be - by the end of the Century ! We are outnunbered 1000s to 1 by Flora & Fauna & Fungi and through the Food Chains & Webs they are all adequately fed ! Humans do not live Naturally with Natures Cycles & Seasons we exhaust the Arable Land and waste OVER 70% OF THE FOOD we produce and through Global Warming we increase the deserts and flood the arable Coast with Sea Water. Sometimes I wish I was 86 instead of 36 ~ The future is not ORANGE ! And YES misguided Religion does have a lot to answer for ~ the day of Reconning may be sooner than we think. CORVID 19 should lead to self examination and a mending of our Selfish & Greedy Ways and result in a more Humanitarian & Egalitarian Society ~ AMEN !
