Tune: Binchester

('Happy are they, they that love God')

Psalm 52 v.8-9

**********

I be like a green olive tree

Dear is my Lord to me

A tree within God's house, I grow

More of Him seek to know

I trust in God's mercy for e'er

With me He does it share

And unto all who do believe

They too His grace receive

I will praise you for ever, for

You acted for me sure

Your name is good, your saints do say

Now dawned redemption's day

For by His power, I saved each hour

Foes not me devour

Though self I cannot save, 'tis he

All my salvation be

Tune name: Binchester - a town in County Durham, not near Winchester!

You're an exotic one you are Orchidee... an olive tree no less... why couldn't you be a pear tree or a good old victoria plum tree, or prickly like a blackberry bush. Fido will assure you that theyre all good enough to pee against you know.

Orchie, nicely said! Now you want to be a tree? I thought you wanted to be a lamp-post!
