BECAUSE OF COVID 19 ~ In the UK ~ We now have a further Three Weeks of LOCKDOWN ! NO Education - Sport - Travel - Live Entertainment - Non-essential Shops or Corporate Worship ! Births & Marriages are Unsung and Burials Silent & Unattended. Normal Life ~ as we knew it ~ has ceased to exist. We rely on Newspapers for our information - TV & Radio for our entertainment & Supermarkets & Zoom for our Social Interaction ! All because of one Unpredicted Mutant Virus ~ COVID 19 ~ which is holding the Whole Earth to ransom. It looks like a WW2 land mine ~ BUT ~ It is a million times more DEADLY !
Did we take LIFE for
granted ~ assuming it would
always run smoothly ?
As Night follows Day ~ and as
each Season follows Season !
Twenty-first Century
Man ~ was Master of his own
Destiny ! Forces
Of Nature ~ had been replaced
by Higher Technology !
Global Warming is
a solvable blip ~ Natures
response to increase
in CO2 to meet Mans
demand for more ENERGY !
BUT ! Nature had a
trick up her sleeve ~ something that
HOMO SMUGNESS not
expected ! Deadly VIRUS
which has now filled the Whole Earth !

Great write but just one point I would make, as I have written in reply to Andy's posting, it was predictable and we failed to prepare.
BRIAN HERE ~ Thanks Uncle Mike pleased you liked the overall posting ! I take your point. Perhaps initialy the gravity of CORVID 19 was not realised which led to a delay in LOCKDOWN. A large Race Meeting was allowed to go ahead and the availability of PPE was underestimated. Brits have a tendancy to underestimate in matters large & small. The Scouts Mantra is *Tousjours Pret* *Be Prepared !*

Interesting take as ever but the extra gear is by humans, not nature in my opinion. This is just another cycle but we are definitely not getting all the info, again in my opinion...

BRAIN HERE ~ Thnaks for your comment PD. Yes things in the Natural World (of which MAN is a part) do move in CYCLES of Cause & Effect to maintain EQUILIBRIUM. Raising Atmospheric CO2 levels from 250 to 420 ppm must result in an ambient Global Temperature Rise for 15 to 16C. Unhygenic Wet Meat Markets caused CARONA Viruses to MUTATE to COVID 19. There is no CURE (YET) LOCKDOWN is PREVENTION. If we lift it too soon then MILLIONS more could die. We are told what our Governments think we need to KNOW ~ AMEN
