See Me

SheWasTheSun

Cut me open

Dig out my heart

And them see it

And let them see me

Because all this life

I've hidden the parts of me

That make me real

That make me, me

Cut me open

Dig out my heart

Let them all touch it

Just let it out to breathe

For I buried it alive

I buried it so deep

Cut me open

Rip out my heart

And see it

And see me

    But we can see you.

That's true. My writing is the one place where I open up. Of course only to strangers. Becoming more vulnerable in my daily life is a new goal of mine.

Writing is a freedom that we all have and it helps us to become better within ourselves.
