Duck it

Poetic Dan

She woke me up before sunrise, so I put her in our bed

Within moments she went back off, my mind is not the same

Here we go again, downloading data to my brain

All things that I could do, if only I truly wanted to

Down stairs and already had a smoke, duck it this is no joke!

Get the dogs out the cage, ready to show them a day of unafraid

Walking with sun now blinding my path, stars hidden till after dark

Knowing nature feels my heart, with seeds I share with her

Creature of moods knows where harmony lies. Not in slumber but where the wind blows in your face and reality bites.

Ha and the tips of my fingers did get cold when feeding the ducks, reality does bite! That the feeling of life!
