Tune: Taize Chant
('O Lord, hear my prayer')
Psalm 55 v.17-22 parts
********
Evening and morning
My prayer you I bring
Look on me, hear each thing
That I humbly ask
Be it small, great task
I sincere, with no mask
He shall come, save me
Show mercy, so be
With His love, strong and free
Deliver my soul
From enemies toll
Restore and make me whole
Cast your burden here
On the LORD, Him fear
Be in awe, He is near
He shall you sustain
His help you shall gain
Secure with none of feign
He shall not permit
The righteous one whit
To be moved, their path lit
With His presence clear
He does so appear
Safe we be, unmoved here

ANGELA HERE - IM ON A LATE TODAY 2 - 9pm. Repetition is as important in Hymnology as it is in Odology ! Love TAIZE very like Buddhist Chants ! Perhaps we should introduce the Prayer Wheel to help us Pray (collectively) during Lockdown when we have to *Forsake the Assembling of ourselves Together* Just email ones Prayer to the Vicar - He can place it in the Wheel & keep it in the wheel and *Carry on Turning*.
Love PSALM 55 v 22 *Leave all your troubles with the LORD. He is on your side - He will defend You ! He will never let His Chosen Ones be defeated by Unbelievers - AMEN*
Blessing & Joy to You & Faithful Fido
