I'm not ill at ease at all WHAT? who said that... i'm hearing voices... and the wallpaper pattern chased me up the stairs on friday. I think the eggs in my fridge are breeding... nobody warned me about that. do you think i should separate their whites? Am i being racist?

BRIAN HERE - GOOD MORNING DA - Thanks for your comment. LD affects us all in different ways. In a way it is helpful that Angela is @ WORK leaving Me to do all the housework - gardening etc etc. I look forward to her return each evening (6:3Opm) and her appreciation for my *Dish of the Day* also Im Young eough to go shopping etc. Life gets tedious dont it ! Little things (for Men) like defrosting the freezer - become a major operation requiring a Hair Drier and washing up bowls (to store the goods out of the freezer) and I have also legibly labelled the entire Freezer Content in case of a curfew on *Going Out*. At least COVID 19 provides a topic for odd odes ! Thanks for reading & replying !

You sound a very organised sort of a chap. Do you label each of the scrabble tiles too?

I suppose it's worse for some people than others, and worse for some countries than for other countries.
I know a terrible Jehovah's Witness joke - it's too much really in this crisis. Fido not sure if he will let me tell it.

BRIAN HERE (A @ Work) thanks for your Comment ! LD produces a different set of challenges for each Individual. Im kept very busy with Housework - Garden - Shopping - MPS etc etc. Angela & I are always very Polite to JWs - Mormons (& Conservatives !) and invite them in for a Glass of Milk and a Cookie, We explain we are in touch with the Lord and have assurance of Eternal Life etc etc.
We visit a Christian Communuy in Florida - their JW joke is. *I heared someone @ the Door and thought it was a JW - but when I opened it - I was pleased to see it was only an ALIGATOR !* We need a smile in these Draconian Days !

Blessings & Snoopy Joy to You & Your Scotty !

Thanks A&B. Lemme in - I'm a member of the Tory Party at Prayer (Anglican!) - as they say! lol.
That wasn't the JW joke. It's a dreadful black humour joke, best told in private.

Locked down will result in all sorts of complaints and perhaps rightly so but we must remember this is a fight against something both pandemic and virile - - -good points made here dear duo............... x

BRIAN HERE - Angela still @ work ! Gammon & Pineapple for Dinner with new Potatoes - Peas - Mushrooms - Tomatoes - I like to Spoil Her ! For those who are locked-in its beginning to get irksome especially with the good weather. We can (like you) walk on the (Essex) Beaches & in the surf but no BBQs or Beach Hutting ad all Cafes closed. Cornwall must also feel deserted. I feel BORIS (because of His experience with COVID - will be less flexible about SOCIALISING. On VE Day (75th Anniversary) Our Church is delivering an Afternoon Tea & a Union Jack to all Members (about 30) over 70. Im part of the Preparation (Church Hall) & Delivery. Shhhhhhh its a surprize ! We will wear face masks - made by one of our Members who is a Florist & we will all keep six feet apart !

              Blessings & Peace & Joy

This pandemic is testing the human mantle:
Are we capable of being compassionate in the interest of all?
Are we able to put self-interest on the shelf, for as long as it takes, for the benefit of all?
Are we able to prove that we are truly an intelligent specie that thinks of others before oneself?
              I WONDER!!!!!!!
FREEDOM, is only attainable when others around us also have it.
Thank you for a lovely poem.

For us seniors it's not the lockdown per se but not knowing when the vaccine will be available which determines when we can come out of it. For us it will go on. Fine write.
