Consider my affliction

You do know and see each one

Deliver me, for I do

Your law not forget, nor you

 

Plead my cause, and deliver

By your word do me assure

Salvation from the wicked

Is far away, from them hid

 

For they not your statutes seek

Here revealed to humble, meek

Great are your tender mercies

Help me Lord, my soul them sees

 

Many my persecutors

Enemy against me stirs

Yet till I do not decline

From your testimonies fine

 

I the transgressors beheld

And was grieved, for each they held

To their sins, kept not your word

Turned from it, and it not heard

 

Consider how I love so

Your precepts, LORD, and them know

Revive me LORD, loving kind

So you act, we sure do find

 

Your word from the beginning

Is true, we it speak and sing

And hear your righteous judgements

They endure e'er, you them sent
