Tune: Servant Song
('Brother, sister, let me serve you')
********
'Chagag', to celebrate, observe
Festivals without reserve
Expressions of joy and marching
In procession of our King
To be giddy, move in circle
And to employ dances all
To reel to and fro, as drunken
As filled with the Spirit then
Psalm 42 v.5
In our mourning or oppression
We remember good times when
We went to the house of God to
Praise Him with voice of joy new
Joy and praise and great thanksgiving
We offered our Lord and King
Gathered with those, a multitude
Kept holy day, it renewed
So be not cast down, O my soul
The Lord will help, make you whole
You will again praise Him here for
He is your saving health sure

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.7.8.7. metre, in a 'Praise' series. A previous local Vicar moved to this church. It was one of two churches in the area that he led.

Does the spell-checker know Hebrew? It did not underline 'Chagag'!
Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ For a challenging Hymn and an uplifting meditataion in these trying times. Angela & I (like all under 40s ) do miss going out & socializing ! BUT Angela is quite drained when she comes Home (in about an Hour 6:30pm) with all that is happening @ the Hospitals. We will have a 100% TURNOUT TONIGHT & We will be singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Colonel Tom and *You*ll Never Walk Alone* for the NHS & Key Workers. BORIS is Back so we expect the end of Lockdown to accelerate. As a NEW DAD he wants the Economy to PROSPER ~ AMEN !
Blessings & Peace to YOU & Your Pompous Pooch
Love in the SPIRIT BRIAN & ANGELA ๐งก๐ค๐๐ค๐งก
