Last dance

myself and me

Lingering

on the branch

reluctant to leave

stay

just a bit

a little bit longer

Yet

it is time

to let go

Slowly

unwillingly

opened her hands

lonely

beautifully

gone with the wind

Looking back affectionately

whispering softly

to her love

"Goodbye"

Delicate flower

scattered into petals

dancing the last dance

That last dance is always so special being left with the hope that another dance will come your way.
