myself and me

Last dance

Lingering

on the branch

reluctant to leave

stay

just a bit

a little bit longer

Yet

it is time

to let go

Slowly

unwillingly

opened her hands

lonely

beautifully

gone with the wind

Looking back affectionately

whispering softly

to her love

"Goodbye"

Delicate flower

scattered into petals

dancing the last dance

That last dance is always so special being left with the hope that another dance will come your way.

An absorbing personification and written with such poetic observance I could see those fluttering petals saying their soft goodbyes.

I guess I stare at the Sakura for too long, can't resistant the imagination. Thank you. MM

          M&M,

a most tranquil moment in poetry,

          Unsub.

          • myself and me

Do you find the tranquil moment bothering or rather it is what you looking for? Nice to see you showing up.

            • Unsub

just what I was looking for.

              Unsub.
