Secrets

sylviasearcher

Drifting into darkness

Uncertain land of dreams

Or maybe just more nightmares?

Of things can’t be unseen

Drowning in a moment

Heavy in the now

Murky muds that choke you

No back nor forth no how

What if out beyond the empty

Is something more than this?

Broken dreams and haunting nightmares

Set free and never missed

Sense the light beyond the darkness

The dawn after the night

Hear the music sent to wake you

Winged friends, whisp’ring, ‘it’s alright’

Such a feel of peace in this description of something we often question and never seem able to find the right answer - that final stanza is so inspiring - thank you for sharing it Sylvia.

Thanks you Fay. The birds always help me in my difficult moments.

Those whispers from our winged friends in the morning assure me that life is fine.
        Good words sylvia.
