Just A Toy

BoxMyHeart

Written in 2006 - found in my archive

I Felt alone in this big world

I'm glad you're right here beside me

I couldn't live another day

knowing you'd be sad again

I touch your lips as your cheeks go red

feelings I get explode in my head

You're my special someone

no matter where you are I'll wrap my arms around you

And protect until I bleed

I await the day that you will leave

because soon enough you will

I spill my heart for you

every time I cry

All my happy thoughts

are of you

living inside my mind

But in the end you'll break my heart

leave it on the floor

just like the last toy you broke...

Those relationships in our younger days can be so meaningful.

Very relatable. Back in the day this was described as a very intense infatuation.
