Aware ? ? ?

dusk arising

Its a beautiful day.
But you won't see
me out and about.
Oh I'll be there alright
I'm sly, crafty.
I like your joyous
young carefree ones,
such easy prey!
Oh the favours
they do me in their
innocent ignorance.
But it's not just
them who I seek.
They take me home.
YOU are the ones
I am after and I
shall have you all.
I am the destroyer
of  humanity.
Your time has come.
So smile and raise
a glass of cheer
in unsafe company
tonite. For here
beneath your noses
i am ready to be inhaled.
and you shall be
ha ha ha...   infected.

  • Fay Slimm.

Wow - a first rate verse - The vile little virus has crept through your lines like a hidden hiatus and craftily swallows our pride. - - Great write D.A.

Horrible isn't it? It was delightfully horrible to write. Though i knew I could have improved upon it, I chose not to dwell in this frame of mind for long. It was all over quite quickly thank goodness.

It will be nice to visit places which give pleasure again when all this is over.

Frighteningly of the moment and a stark reminder of today’s surreal but otherwise sad reality ... Well crafted and despite the noir and somber message, enjoyed by me no end...

The dark side of me dwelled in the evil which is corvid 19 for a short period. Though this beast has no conscience, no sentient capability. In viewing an evil mindset bent upon destruction of humanity, maybe.... just maybe those who cannot accept government warnings will find themselves susceptible to horror..... but i doubt it. I'm just not evil enough to find the words.

          understood and truly..

Very intense dark words d a, worse than the others that come out at night seeking your blood, at least you can see them.

Interesting piece of music as well.

Yello have done some interesting things over the years. I've never been a big fan of electronic type music but some of theirs is worthwhile especially rythmn divine with shirley bassey.

Dark words indeed. I could have lingered to polish this poem but it gave me shudders writing it so 'post it and be damned' became the order of the day.

If it was visible we would see it 'right under our noses', as they say.

Wow.... We are all free to express and that you have truly done.....in the weeks of learning more biology than I've ever done! The universe is nothing more to me but a virus in all manner of life, yet we still think we have the knowledge to know or make what is wrong or right...

I definitely take from this that it's all blowing in the wind and theses last few days mother nature agrees! As out of the blue life will always keep happening, just my dogs I'll keep trying to enjoying every bit!

Always appreciated, thanks again for the inspiration
