Birds’ lingua franca

arobot

Titmouse in wood

greet each other  sweety! Sweety!

Whatever mood,

I never mistake it as “pity!pity!

The cuckoos

Really say cuckoo !cuckoo!

In Chinese it reads sow soon, sow soon!

Time wont wait for another moon

When wheat turn golden in June

francolin would alarm, ripe and reap, ripe and reap!

For a storm any time may ruin all season’s crop

The bird knows best, hearken!

Happy birds they are

magpies always laugh, “hahahaha, hahahaha...”

No wonder they are mascof for Chinese

Favored more than nightingale or lark

HI AROBOT - BRIAN HERE - Thanks for a lovely Poem all about the SOUNDS of Nature. When we were in the Boy Scouts when we were in our Teens all the Patrols were named after Birds & Animals and the Girls were named after Trees & Flowers. Ours was the PEEWIT Patrol and its call sounds like its name PEEEEEE - WIIIIT PEEEEEE WIIIIT We had to recognise the Birds (and Animals) by Sight - Habitat & Sound. The first time you camp out at night in a Field remote from Traffic - You hear all sorts of NEW SOUNDS - SEE NEW SIGHTS - SMELL NEW SCENTS - TOUCH NEW TEXTURES & SAVOUR NEW TASTES ! Skills we lose if we become urbanised. We tried to live WITH NATURE just like the European Gypsies & the North American Indians & the Maoris in New Zealand which Angela & I have visited and lived among ! Thnaks for remind ing us of the LANGUAGE of the Mouse - Cuckoo - Francolin (Asian Gamebird like a Partridge) - Magpies & Thers and thanks for sharing some Chinese Folk Lore - AMEN. Angela & I have bought our First House ! We have made it very Bird & Wild Animal friendly. We have only been in it six weeks but have seen 20 Species so far - AMEN ! Thnaks for all yiour lovely POEMS - You are a BLESSING to this SITE !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
        Love BRIAN & ANGELA 💛💛💛

Birds songs are so wonderful as are the words in your poem.
