Tune: Ach Gott Und Herr
('Strengthen for service, Lord, the hands')
Psalm 62 v.5-8
********
My soul, wait you on god, for He
My expectation, hope be
I look to Him, and no dismay
Shall distract me from His way
He only is my rock, I stay
Here form for sure each today
He my salvation sure for e'er
And shall me forsake here ne'er
He my defence and I shall not
Be moved, happy be my lot
I shall not be shaken, but bide
With him, I to Him allied
In God my salvation it be
And too my glory so, see
The rock of my strength, refuge too
Is in God, He me renews
Trust in Him at all time, people
Pour out hearts before Him, all
Good is a refuge for us, we
Wait, safe, secure in Him be
