You, O LORD, will light my candle
My lamp, through you I shall see all
You LORD my God will enlighten
My darkness, I see clear then
For who is God except the LORD
He does speak His eternal word
And who except our God be sure
A rock for us evermore?
It is you God that do gird me
With strength, so empowered I be
he makes my way perfect, guides me
In His paths, they plain and free
The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock
It withstands through all of life's shock
He the God of my salvation
Exalted in each nation
Great deliverance He does give
To His people, they saved and live
Knowing His mercy, His keeping
Praises unto Him they bring
