Leave the View Behind
Despite being
Whispered
Her words
Were
Each heard
And
Though each
Was heard
Clearly
They each
Sounded absurd
Since
We have but
A moment
Yet time to
Lament
There is no
Need to
Linger upon
A love
Now long spent
So from a
Room filled
With mirrors
And the
Sweetest of
Scents
A sea view
To die for and
The very
Cheapest of
Rents
It is time now
To reflect
She said
Pointing a
Finger at me
Oh’ and on
Your way out
Be sure to
Close the door
And leave
The view behind

You pen the scene well my friend. A formidable female who points fingers is best left behind with the view methinks Nev.......... x
Bless ya my dear lady Fay...
Ice cold some women can be!
best forgotten in the process of finding brighter days and warmer weather.

I think you know the answer to that... today is actually the anniversary of my one and only period of homelessness... a very, very long time ago now.. Cheers
