Veil

Tayama

Why should I let them hurt me?

Why should I let them hurt her?

Why is it that they always do?

Why do they not come out from under their veil of hate?

Why do I even pretend that it’s me?

He told me to forgive and walk away…

That there is a great divide between forgiveness and reconciliation…

To love, you must forgive…even their hate also…

Why should I?

Then in forgiving myself…the veil of love just might come over me…

For the very first time...Letting her suffering, become a mist as to disperse, so we can both see...that we always...have been free...
