I fail

Bloody Pen

No matter how hard I try

I still fail.

I pick something up and drop the other.

I deprive myself of necessities as punishment.

I feel unworthy and should just disappear.

No matter how hard I try

I still fail.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Ever since I was little it seemed I couldn't do anything right. I was always put down by my father and struggled to succeed in school, I still do. Despite my failure being minor or significant I always brutally criticize myself making me feel more inferior than I already do. That feeling leads to suicidal thoughts causing me to spiral into a full breakdown. This poem is simply putting those feelings into pen and paper so they have less of a chance to destroy me.

I know that I don't completely understand how you're feeling because no one can truly understand how anyone feels, but if you ever need someone to talk to you can talk to me. This poem is wonderful though.

Your words written down will release the bad in your life and replace it with good the more you write.
