Alteration.
Now sinks light into hibernation and sky
becomes faded like old prints
of some fire-finished love affair
as unhappened mystical changes muster
for roll-call by spreading
moon-shape over invocations to dusk.
Now pervades alteration as dome dons
face of foamy mauve velvet
for ebony blots ray-race when
pearl ink-drops bleed end to remains
of sunset and haze begins
drifting filigree murk over spent day.
Now waits time while mutation ignites
sun's dying and as weary day
retires to battle-bruised lines
of captured goodbye wounded azure
defers to throned rule while
pale Luna smiles and starts her reign.

Good write and pic Fay.
Glad you enjoyed the both Orchi. and thank you for your comment.
I could lay here in the depth of these words till all around me grows cold … they are like a refreshing and much needed hot bath ma'am …. N : )
How deliciously appetizing to see you lying in my sunset grapple with a smile as you sink in Luna's fabulous glow. Though I sincerely appreciate your uplifting support mi amigo.
ANGELA HERE - Good Evening Fay - Thank you for a perfect picture & Tone Poem which encapsulaes perfectly *The End of the Day !* Often as each Day capitulates to Night we are indoors and so see it only *Through glass darkly* However in your Tone Poem - You descript it in all its Dynamic Glory !
V 1. The LIGHT does indeed hibernate to
be replaced by Sister Moon !
V 2. MAUVE VELVET is a perfect description
of the late evening SKY
V 3. For those in LOCKDOWN (like Brian etc)
each person is increasingly weary and
welcomes the onset of LUNAS gentle smile
Thanks for sharing - Joy & Peace
Love Angela & Brian & Smokey !
So glad you enjoyed the read of Alteration dear Angela - end-of-day skies are ever a reason for my pen to try describing.
Wonderful write once more Fay, I was lost in those evening skies waiting for Luna to rise upon me.
Andy
Yes the feeling of being lost in the rise of each moon can be awesome indeed Andy - thank you for your encouraging comment on my few words on Alteration.
