Elsewhere.

Fay Slimm.

Elsewhere.

Sometime and somewhere by silent lakeside,
Laughter and romance sat close together,
Heat in the snow uncovered surprises,
Led covert to passion in icy weather.

Elsewhere in quiet of timeless forest,
Ardour lay down with impatient desire,
Waiting in hunger was one winter sunset,
Nowhere but there was where lovers felt fire

Oh you brought such joy to me with these words. I'm so pleased i led the life which gave me such wonderful memories as are triggered by your words today.

Once again, with your Heineken of poetry, you reach the parts other poets cannot reach.

Ah - -- you are too kind D.A. but am so pleased my words enter parts to make dreams real again. Thank you for your reminders that memories are golden..

Fido, me watchdog, usually barks at 'ardorous' references - 'quiet Fido!' lol.

THANKS FOR SHARING FAY - Angela Here ! Love the nuances in this Poem. As you know we are just starting our married life together so such scenes as you describe are few so far - but much to anticipate when we are free to explore the World (of uninhibited Love) again - AMEN ! Love the romantic pic - A !

        Blessings & Peace & Joy
        Love Angela & Brian & Smokey !

That amorous fire can be seen in such wonderful places.
