Forgive me, strengthen, encourage
Me here through every stage
What we cannot do, have mercy
And our poor state do see
You with us, you the path have trod
Eternal Son of God
Change m, where stubborn, where rely
On feelings by and by
You who know hearts of everyone
Hidden to you are none
Rise up within, godly desire
Spark blazing to a fire
your Spirit working in us, we
