Seventh angel's trumpet does sound
Great voices in heaven redound
Saying, The kingdoms of this world
Have become, it is unfurled
Become the kingdoms of our Lord
'Tis true to His every word
Kingdoms of our Lord, and too be
Kingdoms of His Christ, here see
And He shall so reign fo ever
Loses omnipotence ne'er
Four and twenty elders round throne
Fall down, worship God alone
Saying, We give you thanks, O Lord
God Almighty, living Word
Who is, and were, and are to come
Lord over all, not just some
You have taken to you your great
Power, have reigned, no abate
Nations were angry, your wrath now
Shall be demonstrated, how
You will it show, and time of dead
To be judged, you living head
Shall reward servants, prophets, saints
They know no more of sin's taints
Reward too, those that fear your name
It Almighty, e'er the same
Small and great comforted, but they
Who destroyed the earth, their day
Has come and they shall destroyed be
By your judgements, we agree
Temple of God in heaven open
Was seen in His temple then
The ark* of His testament there
Awesome sights to behold, share
Lightnings, voices, thunders, earthquakes
Great hail, wondrous vision makes

* Ark - not a boat, but a box, in which were put the two
stone tablets with the Ten Commandments written on them,
given to Moses by God.

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.7.8.7.8.7. metre. In verse 5 - this seems to relate to conservation. It's worth doing, even though some say 'This world is going to end one day, so why bother to care for it?' In verse 6 - note explained about the Ark. As with the film 'Raiders of the lost Ark', it's not about Noah's Ark!
