Endless sea

Saxon Crow

We are made from the different colours of your skin

We each share the breath of life you have freely given

Each loving thought came from your mind first

Each act of  our compassion was made to quench your thirst

And then you let us go to play in this world

But we squandered your gifts like a spoilt little child

We tore you apart in misguided vision

Named each part of you as a seperate religion

But still you smile and watch us fall

You don't care about doctrine

As long as we hear your call

You allow us to fight and scream and hurt

Patiently waiting until we have finally learnt

You watch on as we turn away from you

Our loneliness gets deeper until we see what we must do

And there you are with your beating heart

Always shining brightly guiding us through the dark

And that's how i know and have come to see

That your love for us is an endless sea

This is possibly slightly deeper than the Atlantic Ocean but with clearly visible and dangerous undercurrents...

That love is there but it gets confused in all these religious ideals that haunt so many peoples lives.

        You credit him for creation,
        I blame him for creating.
        He is not the cause
        I am for my actions.

        Thank you.

An awesome poem to God, I like to think of it meaning the immortal eternal God.
You expressed superbly and outlined straying ways when we get too lost in material worldly pursuits yes. Kudos!!
