Twenty one years ago a country girl took a chance
She found a city boy, and maybe romance
Two lonely hearts found their way
Out of darkness to this day
So much sorrow and loss, together they stay
Two lonely hearts found their way
Once they met, that country girl knew
Conversations began, and attraction grew
They helped each other grow to who they are today
Two lonely hearts found their way
Justice of the Peace said" I now pronounce you man and wife"
Then he said "Best Friends for life"
Through sickness and in health until death do you part
Twenty one years later nothing will tear them apart
