Sun and the moon

espy_lileye

Remember that night,
In the moonlight
You told you were mine
I told you I was yours

We were lovers
Like the sun and the moon,
For there is no love purer
One chased another, forever
If only they could meet

But we met, under the pale light
The light of your face,
Prettier than the starlight
The feel of your soul,
Warm as the first light
The touch of your lips,
Softer than cotton candy
Time slowed down,
The sea calmed down
The breeze blew gentler
All the worries
Washed away with the sound of the waves

Oh, I had wished it had never ended
But I was contempt for that night
For the sun and the moon
Could never meet,
There wouldn't be night or day otherwise
