If you Dare,

Take me for what I am,

If you Care,

I'll never change for You,

Any of my colors it's True,

Though I won't ask for much from You,

Just all that you are & all that you do,

In return I'll be,

Everything you ever thought of Me!

    But will she bring her baggage to assault you with? Will you find your opinion of her changes and brings out something new in you, good or bad? It happens all too often.
    But I do wholeheartedly support the spirit of your post which brought a wry smile to the front of my head.

        Yes in my own heart I do have what every poem/song I write means to me. However I have a big enough heart to understand when anyone would make a comment to see what it means for them, too. Sometimes in line with my own feelings, sometimes maybe not so much. Love Don
