A FROM POSITIVE SPIN OFF FROM COVID 19 ~ Has been the CAREER PRFERENCES for Children in the UK (aged 4 - 16). 75% have changed their choice to Professions which helped others ~ such as Doctors - Nurses - Police etc. Some still cling to their *Pipe Dreams* to be Footballers - Pop Stars - Actors etc. The POEM list the TEN most popular choices ~ in order of preference ~ OK !
Id like to be a DOCTOR - cos they make sick People well
I know Id have to study hard - but that Job would be swell !
When I leave School - Id love to train to be a NURSE
Cos everybody loves them and they help to STOP the CORVID CURSE !
When I grow up - Id like to be - a PERSON in the PUBLIC EYE
And be very very famous - and have a STATUE when I die !
When I grow up and go to work - my occupation brighter
Saving People form the Flames - A bold & brave FIREFIGHTER !
Id like to be a FOOTBALLER - With a Wife - *Creme de la Creme*
And only work - one day a week - the best of Jobs - AMEN !
The bestest Job in all the WORLD - for any Girl or Boy
Is to be a FAMOUS POP STAR - and bring lots of people JOY !
I love all kind os Animals - so my best JOB to get
Is to open a Dispensary and be the LOCAL VET !
Everybody goes to School - so to be a useful Creature
Preparing Kids for the World & Work - I would be a TEACHER !
I always love to fantasise - to be my Alter Ego & Pretend
So Id like to be an ACTOR and star in Films & the West End
To preserve Law & Order - so all can live in Peace
Despite the pressures of the JOB - Id like to join the POLICE !

ANGELA HERE - GOOD SUNDAY UNCLE STEVE - VERY SUNNY IN ESSEX - People are already flocking to the coast ! Social distancing is more difficult on the beach and impossible n the sea ! WE have closed our Aquatherapy Pool but still have the Gym Classes because I only have SIX at a time and it is a large space ! Boris (with one eye on the Economy ) is thinking of reducing the distance to Three Feet. Because the Weather has been so good Brian & Smokey & I entertain in the Garden - Is that OK with FIDO ?

GOOD MORNING FAY ~ Lovey day in Essex and We trust in Cornwall ! Real Beach weather ! WE hope soon that all the shops and cafes will be courteously open for service. The intersting thing is children are opting for jobs ~ with the emphasic on SERVICE & NOT SALARY ! These JOBS were 1. 2. 4. 7. 8. & 10. (60%) in the list ! Angela & I have always tried to put Meaning before Money ~ AMEN

Yes indeed JOKER - Thanks for your comment - COVID 17 has highlighted the importance & significancce of MEDICAL & CARING Jobs and also Teachers - Firemen - Police - Vets & People who work in Shops & Food Distribution ! BRIAN & I have Nephews & Nieces in the 5+ age group - who ask us about our JOBS ! They never ask about Salary but are more interested in do we enjoy it and does it make a difference. Career Teachers work closely with Parents to ensure that each Child prepares for an Appropriate & Rewarding Profession. In the College we have a SPECIFIC NEEDS Department which caters for Students with Mental & Physical Dissabilities to prepare for the World of Work. They Love the Science Classes !
