You can’t fake it, to make it.

You can’t fake it, if you want to make it.

If you have got talent, then you will make it;

But whatever you do, when you reach the top, don’t fake it.

Be real kid, just like your heroes did.

You’ve got to feel it and mean what you say.

No you were not too mean, because you said it with meaning.

You were real; you made me believe, so have a nice day.

Fail to live your life the way they want you to.

You have done all you can to be like them,

But they never embraced you.

Say what you mean; you know we can take it.

Do what you can do and make sure you stay true.

You meant what you said and that is what matters.

Say I love you whenever you get the chance

And never look backwards.

Write it with meaning, but don’t be too mean.

Do what you want to do and you will find meaning.
